Krakow - Private Travel

Krakow’s Old Town was on the very first list of UNESCO Heritage Sites, its history reaching back to the 7th century.
Poland’s second-largest city after Warsaw, Krakow sits on the Vistula River near the borders of Slovakia and Czechia. It has always been an influential leader in cultural, artistic, and academic life in Poland, renowned for its well-preserved medieval buildings. Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture, too, fill the town squares.
Private tours in Krakow start with Old Town, which is encircled by the pleasant Planty Park. Here, you will visit the Wawel Royal Castle museum complex, along with 13th-century Rynek Glowny, the largest medieval market square in Europe. The square is also where you’ll find the Sukiennice Cloth Hall, an old trading post – considered the world’s oldest shopping mall – and the Gothic twin towers of 14th-century St. Mary’s Basilica.
Travel experiences to Krakow must also include the 30 galleries and museums, many of them located in Old Town, and the Jewish Quarter, now known for its boho bars and vintage shops.
The two museums at Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory draw visitors eager to learn more about Krakow’s wartime past.
