You'll board a small plane for a breathtaking aerial journey along the Hudson Bay coast to Seal River Heritage Lodge, your home for the next six days. This region is rich in wildlife, so keep an eye out for polar bears, beluga whales, birds, and caribou, especially around the Seal River Estuary. Upon arrival at the lodge, you'll have time to settle into your room and get acquainted with your surroundings. After a hearty lunch inspired by Churchill's local flavors, you'll embark on an exploration of the stunning Hudson Bay coast. Be sure to charge your camera, as you'll want to capture this unique ecosystem. The day will conclude with a full-course dinner and a cozy evening by the fireplace, perfect for unwinding after your first day of adventure.

This morning, after breakfast, you'll embark on two boat expeditions to observe beluga whales, seals, seabirds, and polar bears. These marine tours are conducted in nine-person inflatable boats, each equipped with safety gear, flotation jackets, two-way radios, and a hydrophone, allowing you to listen to the haunting songs of the belugas. Each half-day expedition is scheduled to coincide with high tides to maximize wildlife sightings, with refreshments and lunch provided onboard. You can expect to encounter many beluga whales, known for their curious and social nature, providing you with unforgettable close-up experiences.

Following breakfast, today will entail two different experiences- Trekking/Walking Tours: Daily excursions vary from short walks to photograph caribou to full-day treks with packed lunches. If polar bears are spotted during your trek, your guide will provide instructions on how to safely observe them from a distance. Aurora Watching: In the latter part of the season, you may have the chance to witness the breathtaking northern lights.
