Itinerary in Detail
DAY 1 — Santiago
Upon arrival at Santiago Airport, meet your driver in time for a transfer to your hotel. This afternoon, your private guide will meet you at your hotel to begin a tour of Santiago. Start by exploring the city’s blend of old and new, beginning with the administrative and governmental center, including a visit to the Palacio de La Moneda Presidential Palace. Stroll through the historic Plaza de Armas, surrounded by landmarks such as the Santiago Metropolitan Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Discover the charming Barrio Concha y Toro, renowned for its well-preserved Colonial and early 20th-century architecture. Continue to San Cristobal Hill, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of Santiago and the Andes Mountains. Conclude your tour in the modern uptown area, often referred to as "Sanhattan," with its sleek high-rises, embassies, and luxury hotels, before returning to your hotel.

DAY 2 — Santiago - Valapraiso/Vina del Mar - Santiago
Along Chile’s central coast lie two of its most prominent beachside cities: Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. This city offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern vibrancy. In this remote region, you'll be surrounded by emerald lakes, breathtaking mountain ranges, and abundant wildlife. The evening is yours to relax and enjoy at the Lodge.

Your lodge offers a diverse range of excursions in and around Torres del Paine National Park. Whether you prefer to explore on foot, horseback, bike, or boat, there are activities tailored to different levels of difficulty. Gather by the fireplace in front of their giant, hand-painted map to discuss your interests and physical activity level with expert guides, ensuring a personalized adventure through Torres del Paine.

Similar to the previous day, you can choose to explore on foot, horseback, bike, kayak, or by scenic 4x4 vehicle through the awe-inspiring landscapes surrounding Tierra Patagonia. Choose to unwind at the hotel's world-class Uma Spa, where you can indulge in soothing treatments, relax in the indoor pool with stunning views, or enjoy the sauna and steam baths. This morning make your way back to the airport for your flight to Calama (Atacama). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. You will be assisted with check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

DAY 8 — Atacama
Today visit the Atacama desert, a striking landscape of red-hued terrain, bordered by the Pacific coastal ranges and the snow-capped Andes. Some areas, according to local lore, haven't seen rain in over 400 years. At an average elevation of 7,500 feet, the Atacama is nearly devoid of vegetation, making it one of the most unique landscapes on Earth. During your stay, enjoy two full days of outdoor activities offered by Tierra Hotel. Choose between two half-day excursions or one full-day adventure each day, with options like hiking, horseback riding, or guided sightseeing. End your day with a delicious dinner and a bottle of Chilean wine.

DAY 9 — Atacama - Santiago - Wine Country
This morning, you will be transferred to Calama Airport for your flight back to Santiago. Upon arrival, a local representative will meet you for a private transfer to the Colchagua Valley. The afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy your lodge after the morning’s travel.

DAY 10 — Wine Country
Spend the day enjoying one of the hotel’s included activities. Whether you're new to wine or a seasoned enthusiast, the specially designed tours offer something for everyone. Visit the renowned Clos Apalta winery and others nearby to uncover the secrets of the Colchagua Valley, home to some of Chile’s finest wines. Your stay includes various activities, such as private winery tours and tastings, bicycle rides, and hikes through native forests, as well as visits to other vineyards in the picturesque Colchagua Valley. The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure. This morning, you will be met in the lobby of your hotel and transferred to the Santiago airport in time for your flight.
