Scotland Luxury Cruises
Throughout its storybook villages and scintillating cities, across shimmering lakes or “lochs,” up rocky hilltops and over undulating grasslands, Scotland is the stuff of legend.
With the Atlantic Ocean to the north and the west, the Irish Sea to the south and the North Sea to the northeast, coastal wonders abound in Scotland, the luxury cruises revolving around the country’s almost 800 islands.
Small-ship cruises to the northern island groupings are popular for the pure environment,
the large bird colonies and extraordinary topography awe-inspiring in the extreme. Cruises through the subarctic archipelagos in the Northern Atlantic of the Shetland and Orkney Islands are filled with wildlife and Viking sites. Cruises through the Inner and Outer Hebrides Islands are little wonders of natural exploration.
The farther north you go, the more beautiful the scenery becomes. From Aberdeen, Arctic expeditions take in the Faroe Islands, halfway between Scotland and Iceland.
