Ireland Enchantment: Dublin and Wexford
Overview
Ireland truly is a glorious mix of traditional treasures and modern delights. In Dublin, you visit Dublin Castle and Trinity College, along with engaging museums, including the Guinness Storehouse and EPIC, the Irish Emigration Museum. Traditional music in charming century-old pubs is also on the agenda. You will go south of the city through the gardens and monastery ruins of Wicklow County and Wexford County. Historical attractions, storied castles, manicured gardens, and a dazzling coastline will take your breath away.
Itinerary in Detail
DAY 1 – Dublin
Upon your arrival at Dublin airport, a private driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. The Tully Team would be happy to help with dinner reservation plans.
Hotel: The Westbury
DAY 2 – Dublin
A guided walking tour of Dublin is on the agenda today. You will begin your private tour at Dublin Castle and carry on first to the fascinating EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum, and then to the fun Guinness Storehouse museum. Stately Trinity College and soothing St. Stephen’s Green are next, followed by some Grafton Street shopping and ample pub-hopping in the lively Temple Bar neighborhood. There are so many beautiful places to visit in this vibrant city. If time permits, we can recommend the Trinity College Library and Book of Kells, The National Gallery, St Patrick’s Cathedral, and Kilmainham Gaol. We will custom-curate your day to suit your interests.
Hotel: The Westbury
DAY 3 – Dublin - County Wicklow – County Wexford
After breakfast, you will meet your private driver and transfer to Ireland’s sunniest and most ancient county, Wexford – approximately one hour south. En route, you will stop to admire the scenic landscape of Wicklow County, known as the Garden of Ireland. Next, venture to Glendalough, noted for its monastic sites dating from the 10th century, before continuing to your hotel to check in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 4 – County Wexford
Today brings a full day of exploration in Wexford County. Trace your family heritage with the help of our guide and driver, who will tailor the day's itinerary to your preferences. We recommend visiting the Irish National Heritage Park, a fascinating outdoor museum, and the stunning 12th-century Selskar Abbey. Exploring this spectacular county's dramatic coastline and beaches is also part of the plan. After a day of exploration, you will return to your hotel to relax for the evening.

DAY 5 – County Wexford - Dublin
Your short but sweet visit comes to an end today, with a transfer back to the airport for your return flight home.
