WHY A TRAIN JOURNEY THROUGH IRELAND?
Me, I chose this journey because it combined the amenities of a modern five-star hotel with the elegance of a bygone era. I was able to experience so much of the Irish countryside without worrying about driving on the wrong side of the road or getting lost on their narrow streets. I was able to visit places like Dublin, Belfast, and Cork and enjoy fantastic daily excursions from historic estates and world-class golf courses to the famous hangouts of legendary writers, musicians, and artists.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR TRIP:
I traveled on the Grand Hibernian for 6 nights, roundtrip to Dublin. The train accommodates 40 guests, and with this small group size, you have more opportunities to get to know those traveling alongside you. We felt like we had made lifelong friends at the end of this journey!

WHAT WERE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR TRIP?
I was able to experience Ireland in a very unique way. We enjoyed the local entertainment that joined us on board in the evening and viewing sites such as Cliffs of Moher, Ross Castle, historic Cobh, and the Titanic museum in Belfast, and the food was just incredible!

I would recommend this journey for travelers who want a unique, in-depth experience of Ireland, who love adventure, and who like traveling in small groups.
